One year ago today, the United States Supreme Court voted through a marriage equality bill finally recognizing same-sex marriage. It was a monumental day for our country that finally recognized that love is love; period. We knew that big things were in-store for the LGBT community, and we couldn’t wait to be included in as many of those journeys as we could be. Now a year after the ruling, here we are blogging and celebrating one of our favorite couples ever. Katie & Jenny are a dream couple, and the Hotel Palomar in downtown Phoenix was the perfect combination of sophistication and coolness for them. They laugh with each other the way Kelly and I do, and they are surrounded by wonderful family and friends. They have one of those loves that is clearly visible when you see it, and you know it’s deep because you can feel it in everything they do together. They are beautiful.
