One of the highlights of our year was getting a chance to photograph Katie for an Arizona Weddings Magazine spread. Katie was an amazing model; gracious, kind, trusting and so fun to photograph. This shoot also taught us an amazing lesson about working with what you have, and making it work. The first sample of images below were all taken during a wardrobe malfunction where most shoots would have stopped. Katie realized that somewhere along our hike she had lost her right ear ring. The magazine wanted soft, natural light, and we were at the end of the day and running out of light, so while the team radioed in for a new pair of ear rings, we shot the heck our of her “good side” and even landed a cover 🙂 Here are a few of our favorites of Katie:
